Today's Latimer Center was once the site of the turn of the century Maple Leaf School and is situated just south and east of the famous Tillamook Cheese Factory!
The non-profit Center presents quilting exhibits from the antique to the contemporary, schedules weaving and spinning demonstrations and offers instruction in a variety of textile arts. Latimer also hosts meetings of the Oregon Coast Fiberartisans, the Ocean Breeze Rugkrafters Guild and the Tillamook County Quilters Guild. Members and visitors alike also enjoy an onsite research library and the lovely Latimer gift shop!
